Marketing & Commercial Manager

Our Client a regional player in the energy sector with outlets across the East Africa Region is looking to hire for a Marketing & Commercial Manager to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and commercial initiatives to drive sales growth and increase customer base of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Market strategies, branding, and customer experience initiatives.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing key client relationships.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, and events.

  • Tracking marketing and sales performance, analyse data, and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Lead and motivate teams, providing guidance, and ensuring effective collaboration across different departments.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry players.

  • Manage marketing and commercial budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and tracking expenses.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

  •  Ability to develop and implement effective marketing and commercial strategies.

  •  Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships and manage contracts.

  •  Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering collaboration and driving performance.

  •  Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track performance, and identify areas for improvement.

  •  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

  •  Understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and online advertising strategies.

  •  Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and customers.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, administration, or a related field
