Our client, a commercial entity within the Nairobi Metropolitan, is seeking a highly motivated and creative Digital Marketing Officer to play an anchor role towards the realization of its business objectives. As a Digital Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing effective digital marketing strategies to enhance their online presence and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and Implement Digital Marketing Strategies:

· Create and execute comprehensive digital marketing plans to promote our products/services across various digital platforms, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and more.

· Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies for maximum ROI.

2. Social Media Management:

· Manage and maintain our company's social media accounts, posting engaging content and interacting with the online community.

· Develop creative and compelling social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

3.  Content Creation:

· Collaborate with the content team to develop high-quality, relevant, and engaging content for various digital channels, such as blogs, infographics, videos, and newsletters.

· Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and resonates with the target audience.

4.  Email Marketing:

· Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and retain existing customers.

· Monitor email performance metrics and optimize campaigns for increased open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

5.  Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

· Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website ranking and organic traffic.

· Stay up-to-date with SEO trends and best practices to ensure our digital assets remain competitive.

6.  Performance Analytics:

· Track and report key digital marketing metrics regularly, providing insights and recommendations to the marketing team and management.

· Utilize analytical tools to measure the success of campaigns and suggest improvements.

7. Website Update:

· Take ownership of website maintenance, ensuring content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with the latest marketing campaigns.

· Collaborate with the web development team to implement design and content changes as needed.

· Optimize the user experience on the website to enhance engagement and conversions.

Qualifications

. Education:

  • Certificate in Digital      Marketing is essential.

  • Diploma or degree shall be      an added advantage. Those with marketing background are encouraged to      apply.

2. Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaign implementation and results.

3. Digital Skills:

· Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), email marketing tools, and digital analytics tools.

· Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).

4. Creativity and Analytical Thinking:

  • Ability to think      creatively and develop innovative marketing campaigns.

  • Strong analytical skills      to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

5. Communication Skills:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Self-Motivated:

· Demonstrated self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
