iHR  is seeking an ambitious and self-driven candidate with a past experience in a NEA - Registered Private  recruitment agency for the position of Recruitment Assistant

The purpose of the Recruitment Assistant role is to provide support to the Recruitment Executive in the recruitment of candidates for foreign workers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the recruitment team in coordinating, managing, and executing day-to-day operational recruitment activities and campaigns across various business functions, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services.

  • Provide support to the hiring team throughout the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding activities.

  • Collaborate with recruitment agencies globally to facilitate the hiring process.

  • Assist the hiring team in onboarding, compliance, and continuous improvement of the recruitment process; identify areas for enhancement and propose suitable solutions.

  • Coordinate recruitment activities across a range of countries to meet organizational targets.

  • Contribute to the development of recruitment tools, such as interview guides, training materials, templates, and other resources for use by hiring managers and country HR administrators.

  • Build positive relationships with hiring managers at headquarters and in field offices.

  • Serve as an internal advisor on recruitment best practices, regulations, and policies across different countries.

  • Engage in candidate sourcing through job boards and social media, post job ads, and connect with potential candidates.

  • Nurture relationships with recruitment agencies and headhunters to devise a talent management strategy for timely filling of vacancies.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in a NEA - Registered Private Recruitment agency

  • In-depth knowledge of global recruitment trends and best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with Recruitment channels and HR databases

  • Knowledge of labour Legislation

  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation

  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like LinkedIn)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills

  • Strong decision-making skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • A degree in Human Resources Management or related field

  • CHRP will be an added advantage
