Our client in the Renewable resources industry is urgently looking for a Technical Manager to implement
Technical management strategy, policies, and processes, overseeing planning, executing, and documenting
installation projects, Promoting, adhering to, and ensuring Health & and; Safety guidelines, standards, and
procedures are followed, ensuring good standards of onsite health and safety. You will also Supervise the technical teams of Structural, Electrical, and Solar Engineers and Technical Assistants and operations on sales and sales teams.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical and sales teams and give progress reports to management and customers.
Visit potential installation sites to conduct inspections, verifications, and progress evaluations
Participate in setting quality standards and ensuring the installations and civil works are implemented on such standards
Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for solar installation and civil works.
Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during structural and electrical setup, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring
Demonstrate commercial sensitivity with the ability to deliver results within agreed timelines and budgets.
Ensure technical team and processes comply with solar engineering and relevant standards.
Continuously maintain environmental, health safety, and legal requirements in all installations.
Prepare proposals with technical specifications, Bill of Quantities, and other relevant documents.
Prepare and update procedures, methods, and drawings for various systems.
Researching and evaluating trends in the solar industry to continuously improve and modify processes to increase efficiency.
Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Degree or Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
At least 4 yearsof experiencee as a Technical Manager or in project management in a busy enterprise involving project execution/implementation.
Certificate course in project management software will be a plus.
Knowledge in project design and planning using AutoCAD and PV Syst
